"Mama's Children" Tumblr will be positive, fortifying and inspiring, displaying the most beautiful, evocative and endearing images of all sorts of animal life by the most talented photographers and the occasional work of art featuring animals. Videos and news articles about animals and the environment will also be included.
Most importantly this will be a one-stop site for people to be pro-active - a place to access and sign petitions to help save animals and to protect the environment.
I've had this idea for a long time but after a recent lengthy conversation in New York with a woman that I met from Greenpeace I've been rejuvenated to get this Tumblr up and running. She said that the issue of extinction actually extends to all of the "Big-Headed Mammals" but gave me lots of reasons to not lose hope that they could be saved if enough people get involved.
